Today, one of my chickens, Pingu, was egg-bound, a deadly condition if recovery does not happen soon. I brought her in and soaked her vent in an Epsom salt bath, then cleaned her butt, and she recovered enough to start walking and went straight for the next. I’m waiting to hear the egg song every chicken does after laying an egg. I’ll have to monitor her closely until she recovers completely.
