Part of our documentary process is lots and lots of research. I came across these two amazing documents, the second one is not out yet, and I have two strong contradicting emotions after watching the trailer and the documentary:
I love these documentaries (at least the one I saw but the trailer of the second one looks great as well) and there is so much great information shared in them.
What the heck were we thinking doing a documentary! I feel utterly unprepared, and now I’m utterly scared. How am I going to handle this? Answer: Just keep going and do your best and your best will be good enough, Carmen. Yes, I do have to talk to myself like that, more often than you guys realize. This coming Saturday’s interviews will bring the expertise of two great biological dentist who specialize in removing amalgam fillings (mercury filled fillings). I’m looking forward to learn so much from them.
Well…I’m not going to quit no matter how unqualified I feel in documentary making. The great response from people participating in it is so overwhelming to me (in a loving, great way) that I’m not about to quit on them or walk away from the the encouragement this may bring to others. Have a good and blessed day today. GodBless:)
Receiving a chronic pain diagnosis can be shocking. Even harder is the pain itself that you must endure day in and day out. And if you’re not careful, chronic pain can take control of your life. However, by learning to manage your pain on a daily basis, you can keep that from happening and lead a healthy, fulfilling life. Here are some tips and resources from Carmen McKnight for managing your chronic pain.
Embrace the Diagnosis
The first step to living a fulfilling life when you have chronic pain is to accept your diagnosis.
Work through the initial shock and denial that comes with an unexpected diagnosis, and feel free to vent to family members and/or close friends.
If you find yourself becoming angry that chronic pain is happening to you, use that anger to facilitate your treatment and recovery.
It’s also common for depression to set in after an unexpected diagnosis, in which case it’s essential to foster your mental health through psychotherapy, counseling, acupuncture, or any other professional method that helps you move on.
Take Care of Your Body
Diet, exercise, and sleep will play critical roles in your pain management.
Take gradual steps toward a healthy lifestyle. Making small changes over time, such as starting with 10 minutes of daily exercise and increasing from there, is how healthy habits are formed.
Create a nightly routine that helps you fall asleep, such as walking or doing light yoga.
If you wake up in the middle of the night, try breathing exercises to fall back asleep.
Prioritize Relaxation
It’s also important to find relaxing self-care activities to fit into your routine.
Declutter and clean your home to create more of a healthy, relaxing living environment.
Learn exercises and stretches that can relieve muscle tension and stress in your back, neck, shoulders, legs, and other areas.
Try incorporating meditation into your routine; mindfulness, visualization, and body scanning are a few types of meditation known to help some people treat chronic pain.
Use other natural remedies for pain, such as spices and herbs, omega-3s, icing and heating.
Although it’s certainly overwhelming, a chronic pain diagnosis is not a death sentence. Although it comes with its fair share of challenges, you can learn to manage your pain and live a great life. Try to accept your diagnosis for what it is, and make sure you are looking after your body and adding relaxing activities to your routine.

J.P. and Tanya are becoming a great help to me as I keep learning about Lyme disease and how to heal. In my resource page on the bottom of the page you’ll see a link to the Lymestore, a very helpful place where you can the supplements that helped J.P heal. I hope this helps anyone out there.
Nu-i bai. Care-i necazul tău în astă zi?
I never heard of this until a month ago. I’m adding an article and a video that talks about it a little bit, since I’m still very unfamiliar with this topic but it seems to be important for those who have a severe nausea/vomiting and anxiety reaction when changing medication or supplementation. The reaction is similar to that of a HERX except it last way longer and the treatment holds some surprises, but you go ahead and read about it from those who know what they’re talking about. I’m adding a small fragment from the article. Have a good one and God Bless:)
“What are the symptoms of porphyria? They are global, and it will be obvious that they are similar to those of mold toxicity, Lyme and co-infections, mast cell activation, and PANDAS. Like these conditions, porphyria sets off a series of biochemical reactions, inflammatory in nature, which can affect virtually every system of the body.“
Borrelia is —a corkscrew-shaped bacterium called Borrelia burgdorferi. Lyme is called “The Great Imitator,” because its symptoms mimic many other diseases. It can affect any organ of the body, including the brain and nervous system, muscles and joints, and the heart. -Google
Bartonella– Bartonellosis is a group of emerging infectious diseases caused by bacteria belonging to the Bartonella genus. Bartonella includes at least 22 named species of bacteria that are mainly transmitted by carriers (vectors), including fleas, lice, or sandflies. Both domestic and wild animals can be infected with Bartonella species (Bartonella spp) by these vectors. -NORD, https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/bartonellosis/
Mycoplasma– Mycoplasma refers to a genus of bacteria which lack a cell wall and it is currently considered the smallest known cell at about 0.1 micron (µm) in diameter. Infections in reptiles often cause upper respiratory tract signs.-https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/agricultural-and-biological-sciences/mycoplasma
Babesia -Babesiosis, as with Lyme disease, is transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected tick. However, in a similar fashion to malaria, Babesiosis is caused by microscopic parasites (intraerythrocytic) from the genus Babesia – also known as “piroplasms” – that infect red blood cells.- https://igenex.com/tick-talk/babesiosis-disease/
I had (I hope no longer have) the Babesia Duncani strand-https://danielcameronmd.com/babesia-duncani-emerges-in-eastern-u-s-and-poses-treatment-challenges/
There are thousands of great articles on the net of these co-infections if you like more information.
I have been diagnosed with all four and experienced 98% of these symptoms. Out of these infections Borrelia is the least threatening (Lyme Disease) but the Babesia Duncani is the most deadly. I felt it on my own skin (the air hunger was terrifying). This year, the 8th year, seems the best one of them all. I’m not fully healed, but I’m beautifully better, despite the residue of neurological damage on which I’m still working on.
Keep healthy in and out and I do hope from the bottom of my heart you’re well.
God Bless:)

Yep, it must be said. We’re behind, and will not meet our own dead line, but the good thing about that is we can move it as we need to and adjust as we have to. One more interview in mid October will complete, we hope, the interview process. I’ve begun the work of building the story, a process I really love but it goes slower than I expected. I have to laugh now, everything is slower than I expected, but we want to do a good job and not hurry through.
Sunday we had a great time with Nancy Tung and her wonderful family. Meeting her mother was the highlight of my day. Nancy, who runs her own business as a “Brainspotting Trainer and Consultant Systemic Wellness Coach” https://www.nancytung.com/ brings to the documentary another wonderful touch to the importance of a support system for everyone suffering and the interconnectivity to one another in a spiritual awareness we all need to thrive. I can’t wait to incorporate her wisdom in the storyline:)
I need to work on the second trailer but I’m having a little trouble condensing information down to a minute or two. I guess I have the gift of either gab or headliner and a trailer is somewhere in the middle. No worries, I’ll figure it out.
