My mom will go home tomorrow, an action she deeply celebrates. However, she’ll continue another round of antibiotics for an additional of six weeks due to a very resistant new bacteria they found in her body. Her dialysis will continue, but the ambulance will move her to and from the hospital since she can’t stand up or do any activity due to the multiple abscesses along her spine, a new development. If they burst the chance of paralysis is high. Despite what seems like more of bad news we’re very happy to see her smile and void of severe pain. The remaining pain is treated with painkillers and mom’s happy to see her own home after so many days in the hospital:) My dad remains steady by her side:)
